Watch Fred Armisen and Bill Hader Perform as '80s Art Rockers Test Pattern
Last night, it was a reunion of sorts on Late Night With Seth Meyers as Seth was visited by his Documentary Now! and Saturday Night Live colleagues Fred Armisen and Bill Hader for a quick jam session.
Fred joined Bill on stage to perform as the quirky Talking Heads-inspired band Test Pattern, soon to be featured in this season's Doc Now! episode "Final Transmission" -- an homage to Stop Making Sense, Jonathan Demme's 1984 documentary that captured David Byrne and his art rock band at their peak. Test Pattern -- whose songs are written, just like the Blue Jean Committee's, by Armisen -- employed visual aids like a toy robot and lo-def televisions to sing their hit single "Art + Student = Poor."

Prior to the performance, Bill chatted with Seth about his daughter's fear of a tooth fairy home invasion as well as the dopey origins to the classic SNL sketch "The Californians."

Look for Test Pattern's final concert later this season on Documentary Now!, which premieres tonight at 10P on IFC with the campaign classic "The Bunker."
