Meredith MacNeill

Meredith MacNeill can currently be seen as co-creator, writer, producer, and star of CBC’s award-winning hit sketch comedy series Baroness von Sketch Show. Baroness von Sketch Show has received much critical acclaim during its existing run on CBC, culminating in three wins at the 2017 Canadian Screen Awards, including Best Variety or Sketch Comedy, Best Writing in Variety or Sketch Comedy, and Best Picture Editing in Variety or Sketch Comedy. The series received two additional nominations for Best Direction in a Variety or Sketch Comedy and Best Performance in a Variety or Sketch Comedy. Previously, MacNeill could be seen as a writer and regular cast member on Canada’s satirical news program This House Has 22 Minutes. Her additional film and television work includes Your Money or Your Wife, North Mountain, Big News from Grand Rock, Book of Negroes, Peep Show, My Family and Other Animals, Frequently Asked Questions About Time Travel, Confetti, and Man Stroke Woman. After graduating from a three-year acting program at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, MacNeill began working with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
